Davy is a lonely college junior who dives into storytelling and fantasy to escape a life weighed down by stress, family dysfunction, and a challenging roommate. When blindsided by an unexpected cancer diagnosis, paralyzed by fear and despair, Davy leaves her own disease untreated and unknown to everyone around her. She pours herself into the search for connection through the stories of others, in order to find her path through life or death decisions, learn how to tell her own story, and uncover the possibility for hope.
Preston Max Allen (Book / Music / Lyrics) is a musical theatre writer based in New York City. His work has been featured at the New York Musical Festival, Signature Theatre, Musical Theatre Factory, Feinstein's/54 Below, Joe's Pub, Laurie Beechman Theatre, York Theatre ("Tune In Time" winner), Gallery Players, Lululemon (it’s a long story) and Second City Chicago. Preston conceived and wrote book, music, and lyrics for WE ARE THE TIGERS, A NEW MUSICAL (Hudson Backstage Theatre, L.A. Stage Alliance Ovation winner for Best Lyrics/Composition, nominee for Best Production and Music Direction), NEVER BETTER (NYMF Developmental Reading Series), and THE RAGE: CARRIE 2, AN UNAUTHORIZED MUSICAL PARODY (Jeff Nominee, Best Musical/Underscore Theatre). Portia has workshopped new plays with Playwrights Horizons, Second Stage Theatre, Roundabout Underground, New York Stage & Film, The O'Neill, Rattlestick, Page 73, Ars Nova, the Lark, the Juilliard School, and many others. She is an inaugural O'Neill/NNPN National Director's Fellow, a 2015-2016 New Georges Audrey Resident, an alumna of the Drama League Directors Project and the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, a former Ars Nova Director-in-Residence, and a co-founder of the New Georges Jam. She's also the Associate Director of Fun Home on Broadway. Education: BA in Theater, Smith College.

Currently a creative producer at Blue Man Group, where Megan concieves and executes video, transmedia, print, and stage projects.
